Young Adults at UUCB

Young Adult Network

The Young Adult Network (UUYAN) provides an open and inviting social group for young adults at UUCB. Join us after the service each Sunday in the Atrium for conversation. We also go to lunch on the fourth Sunday of each month (we meet at the fountain to pick a place), and hold other events and participate in social justice projects regularly.   Join our Google Group to get email updates of upcoming activities and to network with other young adults at UUCB.

Numinous Circle

Definition of "Numinous", from the Hypertext Webster Gateway: numinous adj 1: evincing the presence of a deity; "a numinous wood"; "the most numinous moment in the Mass." 2: of or relating to or characteristic of a numen. numen n : a spirit believed to inhabit an object or preside over a place (especially in ancient Roman religion)

The Numinous Circle is an age-oriented (20s to 40s) worship circle that joins together for a ritual of silence followed by deep sharing and listening. Numinous creates a safe and sacred space in which we speak from the heart, sharing our spiritual and personal life journeys. Numinous meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday at UUCB from 7:30-9:00pm.
