Renting UUCB
Our church on the hilltop can be the perfect site for your wedding or other special occasion. The Atrium with its fountain and canopy of trees greets you. Looking past the Terrace doors, you can view the breathtaking panorama of the San Francisco skyline, Golden Gate Bridge, Marin Headlands and Mt. Tamalpais.
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley is a worshipping community, a working community, and a place for the celebrations of life. We acknowledge the human need for a sense of greater purpose. We have no creed, but are open to all who seek to live in truth with love and service. The temple that is our building is for the whole human family.
Church facilities are available for rental by our larger community for rites of passage, corporate events, and special celebrations when the church schedule permits.
The Atrium
This light-filled room is the main entrance to our church. It is located between the Sanctuary and Social Hall, and adjoined by the outside Terrace.
Size: 56 ft x 52 ft | Capacities: 200 standing, 175 seated, 130 at table
Sanctuary
Our sanctuary is the center of worship at UUCB. Soaring beams and stone walls create a feeling of grace and simple elegance for weddings and other rites of passage. It is accoustically superb and an excellent venue for concerts and recording.
