Imagine a religion with room for different beliefs... yours!

We need not think alike to love alike. Most of the members of UUCB were not born UU. Ours is a chosen faith. We come from many other faith traditions—and from no religion at all. We come in search of answers to questions like these...

redHow can I lead a deeper spiritual life?
greenHow can I be engaged with something beyond day to day, secular life?
purpleHow can I be part of a community of meaning and purpose?

For those of you already Unitarian Universalist, we bid you warm welcome and offer you a place to from which to continue exploring your spiritual path.

Worshipping Together

Worship is central to the life of this community. The Sunday service lifts us out of our daily routines and helps us live our UU principles in the week ahead. Throughout the week, members gather together in Chalice Circles to share the experience of worship and spiritual exploration in mall groups. Because it is non-creedal and draws its inspiration from many sources, Unitarian Universalism is a chosen faith for many people who identify as Buddhist, Humanist, Christian, Jewish and others.

Standing on the Side of Love

We believe each person has a share of the truth and we need one another to grow whole. We welcome young and old, families and singles, all the colors and cultures of the human race-gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning and straight. UUCB is an official UUA Welcoming Congregation. You are welcome here!

A Faith of Deeds, Not Creeds

Last year we donated a total of $45,000 to local organizations serving the needy and 5,000 lbs. of food to local food banks. Wherever your passion for social justice leads you, chances are good that you’ll find like-minded souls on the same path here.

Religious Education For Our Kids - And For Us

UUCB is blessed to have a dynamic, fun, and fulfilling religious education program for children that honors each child's individual search for truth. And because spiritual growth never stops, we offer a wide range of seminars, classes and workshops for adults, too.
