6:00pm Spiritual Reflection Group led by Sharon Wylie. In this ongoing group, we engage in the spiritual practice of listening to a text, meditating and reflecting on its imagery and meaning, engaging in a creative response (drawing, journaling, praying), and then sharing our responses within the group. Originally scheduled to offer a grounding, spiritual practice through the hectic winter holidays, this group is open to all who are interested. It may provide particular comfort to people managing life transitions: illness, change in employment, loss of a loved one. Please come! Meditation Room.

Transforming Ourselves and the World – A UUA Pacific Central District workshop at UUCB from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (check in at 9:00 a.m.). This first workshop in a series is “Transforming the Failures of the 20th Century with an Engaged Faith for the Future.” How we can liberate liberal religion and be transformative change agents. How our congregations can thrive and become more vital and alive centers of personal and social transformation. How we can transform our stories of the past into a legacy for the future. We covenant to build a religious community guided by love and sustained by respectful relationships.
