UUCB Council

The UUCB Council was founded in 2005 as part of UUCB’s policy-based governance. It has two main goals:

  • To facilitate communication and collaboration among the many groups and committees that make up the church Network.
  • To make sure that UUCB’s resources are allocated in accordance with the Global Ends Statements set by the Board of Trustees.

Since its inception, the Council has facilitated Priority Dot-Voting held each January, in which members of the congregation select from a slate of priorities proposed by members and committees. The Council has also sponsored programs designed to strengthen committee leadership and effectiveness.

The UUCB Council has six members:

Christina Creveling (Outreach)
Lynnette Delgado (Education and Growth, Pastoral Care/Ministry)
Ann Harlow (Program Support)
Jane Middleton (Small Group Ministry)
Judy Sam (Social Justice)
John Tucker (Though and Spirit)

The Council usually meets on first Saturdays of the month, from 2:00-5:00 pm. All are welcome to attend. Please check the UUCB online calendar to verify the meeting time.
