Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA)
About UU
The primary purpose of the UUA is to serve the needs of its member
congregations, organize new congregations, extend and strengthen Unitarian Universalist
institutions and implement its principles.
Pacific Central District Office of the UUA
(PCD) This regional UUA district covers Hawaii,
Northern Nevada and Northern California, home to over 6,500 UU's, as well
as the Pacific School of Religion and the Starr King School for the
Ministry. PCD serves as a resource for the congregations within the
district, in addition to expanding the awareness of Unitarian Universalism
to the region as a whole.
Pacific Central District Camps and Conferences
The camps are a wonderful way for northern Californian UU's to meet other UU's and have a
fulfilling camps experience.

IARF was organized in 1900 to resist intolerance. Its members today include
Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Humanists, Jews, Shintoists, Sikhs, Unitarians,

REC-Room
A volunteer team of Unitarian Universalist (UU) religious educators first met in the fall
of 1997 to develop a place on the internet where UU curriculum materials can be
contributed, accessed and reviewed. As well as finding descriptions of various
curricula and resources, you will be able to share your comments and ideas with other
religious educators.
Starr King School for the Ministry
Starr King School educates Unitarian Universalist ministers and progressive religious leaders for society using an educational approach rooted in Unitarian Universalist values.
The UU Cafe
Includes a newsletter, chat sessions, and a personal home page directory; a great place to
meet other online UUs.
Unitarian Universalist
Buddhist Fellowship
In recent years, Unitarian Universalists have increasingly been drawn
to explore Buddhist religious practices, especially seated meditation, in order to ground
the "free and responsible search for truth and meaning" that is one of the
guiding principles of the UU tradition. Meditation invites a direct and immediate
experience of reality and provides a balance to purely intellectual inquiry.
Unitarian
Universalist Historical Society
(UUHS)
The UUHS brings together both scholarly and lay interest in the history of liberal
religion. The society encourages the work of historical research, documentation, and
preservation by local congregations. The society also publishes the biennial Journal
of Unitarian Universalist History. The library of the Harvard Divinity School
continues as a repository for historical documents relating to both Universalist and
Unitarian history.
